Tidnock 21- Rules & Regulations
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ THESE RULES & REGULATIONS BEFORE REGISTERING TO JOIN
- All Tidnock21 Carp Angling Syndicate members must carry an Environment Agency Fishing Licence with them at all times and must be able to produce them on request from the owners, management, venue employees or any syndicate member or bailiff. No licence, no fishing at the venue.
- All Tidnock21 Carp Angling Syndicate members must carry their membership card with them at all times and must be able to produce them on request from the owners, management, venue employees or any syndicate member or bailiff. No membership card, no fishing at the venue.
- Tidnock21 Carp Angling Syndicate is a member only fishing venue. No guests or day tickets are allowed.
- Closed Season – Tidnock21 is currently an ‘open all year’ fishing venue. However, we would advise members to either not fish, or strictly limit their fishing at the venue during spawning season. The owners and management reserve the right to change this and implement a closed season at any time.
- Caravans or camper vans are not permitted at the venue under any circumstances.
- Tidnock21 Carp Angling Syndicate Members must be 21 years old or over.
- No drugs or any other illegal substances are allowed at the venue under any circumstances.
- Under no circumstances are any fish to be removed or introduced to the venue waters, unless by the instruction / authorisation of the owners and management.=
- Members are responsible for all litter in and around their swim. All litter to be taken home, including cigarette butts and tea bags.
- No tackle in the water to be left unattended at any time.
- No boats, full size or bait boats of any description are permitted.
- No sonar / fish finder devices of any description are permitted
- Swims can NOT be reserved by pre-baiting.
- No more than two rods are permitted for angling by any one member at any time.
- There will be no sacking or retention of fish under any circumstances, unless specifically authorised by the owners, management or venue employees.
- Scales, weigh-slings, cameras, carp-care treatments etc. must all be ready and available for use, before any fish is removed from the water.
- Fish must be out of the water for the absolute minimum amount of time possible and should be constantly doused with water when on the bank.
- Only proper large carp unhooking mats, cradles and weigh-slings are to be used.
- Barbless hooks only – no exceptions.
- No ‘death rigs’, bolt rigs, or fixed leads of any kind – all leads must be able to break free should a fish become snagged.
- All anglers must fish short of the halfway point.
- To avoid the potential transfer of disease, all nets, mats and associated items must be bone dry before entering the site. This is vital to maintain the bio-security of our waters. Any member turning up with wet gear will be banned with immediate effect.
- No dogs, fires, BBQ’s or swimming under any circumstances.
- Parking in designated parking areas only, next to the house, or to the side of the lake on the hard standing areas – do not obstruct the road access. Please do not park on the grass during the winter period / when ground is wet.
- The use of any nuts, including tiger nuts and peanuts etc. are not permitted. Other particles are allowed in moderation, however care should be taken to ensure these are soaked and cooked properly before use.
- Due to the size of our pools, excessive ground baiting is not permitted, neither are the use of spods or boilie throwing sticks.
- Publicity of fish caught on Social Media or any other public medium must be limited to a picture plus its weight, but describe venue as “Cheshire Syndicate Water”.
- Bringing of none fishing guests (for example spouse / partner) on site must be requested and approved with the owners / management in advance of your arrival.
- Annual membership fees to be fully paid by the end of each membership year – no exceptions will be made. Failure to do so will result in exclusion and loss of your membership from the syndicate.
- Be aware that due to climate change and weather variations, water levels may vary which we have no control of. At the full discretion of the owners / management, the fishery may be temporarily closed for the safety of members and our fish stock. There will be no refunds of any monies paid due to low water levels, fish deaths, restricted access or unsafe banks.
- As the fishery is situated on a farm environment, access lanes may be affected by bad weather or farm vehicle use. Make sure you and your vehicle can cope if this situation arises.
- Any member who has their syndicate membership withdrawn for any reason by the owners or management, will be expected to leave the premises immediately. Syndicate membership is not transferable. There will be no refunds.
- All decisions made by the owners and management are final and not subject to appeal.
- Rules are subject to change at the complete discretion of the owners / management.
- Any changes in rules will be posted on our website.

- All persons entering the fisheries do so entirely at their own risk.
- The owners and management will not accept responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons, property or vehicles, however caused, whilst using the Tidnock21 Carp Angling Syndicate venue.
- By joining the Tidnock21 Carp Angling Syndicate you agree to accept and abide by all rules and regulations.
